董平,帝国理工学院海岸工程博士,博士生导师,鲁东大学特聘教授、国家级人才计划项目获得者、山东省“外专双百计划”高端专家。主要从事海岸工程、泥沙运动、海岸动力地貌、波浪-结构物-底床相互作用等方面的研究工作,30多年海外工作经历。主持EPSRC、Ministry of Education, China、Royal Society、Scottish Enterprise、Royal Academy of Engineering、Leverhulme Trust、Fife Regional Council、Scottish Executive and Angus Council、Angus Council等资助项目20余项,发表论文120多篇。主讲本科生课程《Fluid Mechanics》 、《Water Resources and Treatment》、《Environmental Hydraulics》、《Sustainable Water Engineering》等4门,研究生课程《Environmental Fluid Mechanics》、《Communication and Management of Research》等2门。
